Philippians 4:13
I've heard ministers teach their people that you can't take the statement in Philippians 4:13 out of context and expect that to be true for you.  That notion is not found in Scripture, matter of fact Jesus Christ Himself says we can do all things if we believe.

King David was smart in some ways, when he couldn't sleep he prayed and meditated on God's promises: "My eyes stay open through the watches of the night, that I may meditate on your promises" -- Psalm 119:148.

I woke up around 1a.m thinking about that silly notion that we cannot believe that we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength. I had to answer that wrong concept, so here is my response:

Philippians 4:13 "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."

The Apostle Paul learned that principle about being able to do everything through Christ who gives him strength from what Jesus Christ promises.

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever" -- Hebrews 13:8

Because Jesus Christ is the same today as He was back when, then those promises He made back when are still His promises today for anyone who will believe them and receive them by speaking the "Yes" and "Amen" to those promises.

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ. And so through Him the 'Amen' is spoken by us to the glory of God" -- 2 Corinthians 1:20

Jesus Christ made these statements, and He still does:

"He who has ears, let him hear" -- Matthew 13:43

"The one who can accept this should accept it" -- Matthew 19:12

That is what Jesus Christ promises anyone who will take Him at His word.

Jesus Christ promises: "Everything is possible for him who believes" -- Mark 9:23

Jesus Christ promises: "If you have faith . . . Nothing will be impossible for you" -- Matthew 17:20,21

Every born again believer has a measure of God's faith: "Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought [or less than you should], but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God HAS GIVEN YOU" -- Romans 12:3

Therefore, if you accept the promises of Jesus Christ you can do all things through Christ who gives you the strength. Everything will be possible for you, and nothing will be impossible for you.  Jesus Christ says, "Those who can accept this should accept it."
