Jesus Christ
What He has done for you, and what He is willing to do for you.

Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. Christian, Jesus is the Redemption Sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world (1 John 2:2). He is just and the One who justifies those who believe in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:25).

For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life -- John 3:16

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because He has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son -- John 3:18

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him -- John 3:36

God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.  He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him -- 1 Thessalonians 5:9,10

Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers -- Hebrews 2:11

Since the children have flesh and blood, He too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might destroy him who holds the power of death -- that is the devil -- and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death  -- Hebrews 2:14,15

For this reason He had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted -- Hebrews 2:17,18

Therefore since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.  For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are -- yet was without sin -- Hebrews 4:14,15

Let us then approach the throne of grace WITH CONFIDENCE, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need -- Hebrews 4:16

Since we have now been justified by His blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through Him!  For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through His life -- Romans 5:9,10

Those statements tell us that redemption is a life long process we began the moment we accepted the truth of Jesus Christ, and will continue until the last breath we take, or the Rapture happens.

Because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them -- Hebrews 7:25

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just and will do two things for the one who confesses his or her sins.  He will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness -- 1 John 1:8,9

If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our lives -- 1 John 1:10

If anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense -- Jesus Christ, the Righteous One -- 1 John 2:1.

An Invitation: If you haven't accepted God's free gift of eternal life yet, but you would like to, simply pray this prayer: "Jesus Christ, I believe you are the Son of God and God's sacrifice for my sins; you are the only way to God.  I admit that I'm a sinner, please forgive my sins and come into my life; I want to be born again. Please show me how real you are, also baptize me with your Holy Spirit. Thank you for accepting me."

If you're a skeptic you can pray a prayer like this one: "God, if this is true please help me understand so that I can accept the gift of eternal life Jesus Christ purchased for me."

When you pray that prayer and accept God's gift of eternal life, this happens to you and for you.

You also are included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance -- Ephesians 1:13,14

Now it is God who makes you stand firm in Christ. He set His seal of ownership on you, and put His Spirit in your heart as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come in your life -- 2 Corinthians 1:21,22

In Christ you have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on you with all wisdom and understanding -- Ephesians 1:7. God knew what He was doing when He chose you to be included in His family

How great is the love the Father has lavished on you, that you should be called a child of God! And that is what you are! -- 1 John 3:1

You have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that you may understand what God has freely given you -- 1 Corinthians 2:12

If you accepted God's gift of salvation then
  • your life is included in Christ: He is in you and you are in Him
  • Jesus Christ is interceding for you
  • Jesus Christ makes you welcome before the throne of grace
  • Jesus Christ is able to save you completely because you come to God through Him
  • you are sealed with God's Holy Spirit; He is the eternal guarantee on you life, and He will help you understand all that God has freely given you in Christ
  • God lavished His grace on your life
  • God lavished His love on your life
  • you are now one of God's many children and Jesus is not ashamed to call you brother or sister
