God's Solution

God makes it easy for His people, but His people make it hard for Him to do that!

Christian listen, God’s written word is God speaking, “All Scripture is God breathed” – 2 Timothy 3:16.

The Holy Spirit is the author of Scripture: “Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke form God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” – 2 Peter 1:20-21.

Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit into our lives to (John 16:13): 1) guide each of us into all truth, and He says God’s word is truth (John 17:17);  2) to show us what is yet to come;  3) to help us understand what God has freely given us (1 Corinthians 2:12), and 4) to transform us into the likeness of Jesus Christ
(2 Corinthians 3:18), this all comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

And we have ALL of God’s promises at our disposal because we are included in Christ: “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20.”

We were included in Christ when we heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation. HAVING BELIEVED, we were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance – (Ephesians 1:13-14; 2 Corinthians 1:22).

Therefore through Christ the “Amen” is spoken by each of us to the glory of God – (2 Corinthians 1:21).

So I say it again, if you are not speaking the “Yes” and “Amen” to the promises of God that you need Him to be faithful to, then those promises remain words written on the pages of the Bible. They will not work for you. Christian, you need to learn how to speak the yes and amen to God’s promises.

Jesus Christ is the same today, so the promises He made back when, He is still making today, and the Holy Spirit made sure we’d have them to speak the “Yes” and “Amen” to by putting them in writing for us. He wants us to find the promises we need God to be faithful to in order to put them work for our benefit – (2 Peter 1:3-4).

Listen to this promise Jesus Christ makes to His people: “I tell you the truth, My Father will give you whatever you ask in My name. . . Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete” – (John 16:23 -24).

Jesus Christ also says, “The one who can accept this should accept it.”

Jesus Christ promises, “If you believe, you WILL RECEIVE whatever you ask for in prayer” – Matthew 21:22.

Jesus Christ promises, ”Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, BELIEVE THAT YOU HAVE RECEIVED, AND IT WILL BE YOURS. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against ANYONE, forgive him/her, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins” – Mark 11:24-25.

Those are the reasons people don’t get their prayers answered: 1) they won’t believe that they have received what they asked for, and 2) they’re holding a grudge.  If you don’t forgive others, God won’t forgive your sins, and God won’t bless a person in sin.

Christian, we have God’s written word and we have the author of God’s word living in us. He was sent into our lives to guide us in God’s written word.

The word God is living and active, it penetrates, it discerns what is lurking in our hearts and minds. No human being can do that!  Nothing is hidden from God.  You don't need a counselor, you don't need a person to talk with, you don't need someone to listen to you, you have the Holy Spirit living in you, and you have access to the living word of God:

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any scalpel, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid  bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account” – (Hebrews 4:12-13).

You don’t need someone to explain what the Bible says, you need to read it and believe it and act like it’s true!

The author of the Bible lives in you Christian, and He is in us to guide us into the truth of God’s word, so all we have to do is give Him time to do what He was sent into our lives to do: Guide us in the truth in God’s word. All we have to do is sit down and open the Bible and read it, the Holy Spirit will guide you to the Scripture you need to read and His written world will counsel you. The written word will provide the solutions to what is troubling you. It’s amazing how God's word does that.

The living word of God will penetrate your inmost being and shine light in the darkness. He won’t make you feel guilty, He will prompt you to confess your sin and receive God’s forgiveness. He will also guide you to the promises of God that you need for you situation.  God's promises offer the solution to your problems. He will build faith in your heart making it possible for to speak the yes and amen to those promises. You will find yourself speaking the “Yes” and “Amen” to those promises.

God wants to makes it easy for His people, but His people make it hard for Him to do that!

An Invitation: If you haven’t accepted God’s free gift of forgiveness yet, but you would like to experience the New Life He promises, simply pray this prayer: “Jesus Christ, I choose to believe you are the Son of God and God’s only sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins. I admit it, I’m a sinner, please forgive my sins, and I ask you to come into my life, I want to be born again. Save me Jesus. I don't understand it, but please save me Jesus. Please show me how real you are! Also baptize me with your Holy Spirit; I want everything you have for me. Thank you for accepting me.”

If you’re a skeptic you can pray a prayer like this: “God, if this is true about Jesus Christ and a new life, please help me understand so that I can accept your gift of eternal life that you purchased for me by the sacrifice of Your Son.”
