Be very careful how you live – not as unwise but as wise, make the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil -- Ephesians 5:15,16 .

Make the most of every opportunity, here’s how:

Be imitators of God as dearly loved children. How great is the love the Father has LAVSIHED on us that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! And live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God – Ephesians 5:1-17; 1 John 3:1.

Jesus Christ speaking, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another – John 13:34,34.

Love is a practical thing to do. Love is not hard or complex, nor emotional, click here to read more.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity – Ephesians 3:12-14.

The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love -- Galatians 5:6.

Make the most of every opportunity, here’s how:

Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone – Colossians 4:5,6.

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God with whom you sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you – Ephesians 4:29-32.

Rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind -- 2 Peter 2:1.

For you were once darkness, but NOW you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light and find out what pleases the Lord.  Among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving -- Ephesians 5:3-4.

Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. Don't quarrel about words, it is of no value and only ruins those who listen -- 2 Timothy 2:14-16.

Make the most of every opportunity, here’s how:

Christian, since you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where  Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died and your life is NOW hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life appears, we will also appear with Him in glory. – Colossians 3:1-4.

We are to realize that Jesus is in His Father, and we are in Christ, and Christ is in us – John 14:20.

Make the most of every opportunity, here’s how:

God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are His," and "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness" -- 2 Timothy 2:19.

Put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature. Don’t think about how to gratify the cravings of the sinful nature. These things have not place in our lives: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming. You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. But NOW you must rid yourselves of ALL such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its habits and cravings, and have put on the new self which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of it Creator -- Colossians 3:5-10.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind -- Romans 12:2.

Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, now that you tasted that the Lord is good -- 1 Peter 2:2.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.  And whatever you do, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him – Ephesians 3:15-17.

And devote yourself to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Make the most of every opportunity, here’s how:

Concerning criticism, demonstrate your love and maturity by accepting criticism.  Accept the negative comments without becoming defensive or submissive. Don't react in anger, respond in love. Thank the person for her comments and assure her that you will look for something useful in what she said.

Christ left you an example, that you should follow in his steps. When they hurled their insults at Him, He did not retaliate; when He suffered, He made no threats. Instead, He entrusted Himself to Him who judges justly -- 1 Peter 2:23.

An Invitation: If you haven’t accepted God’s free gift of forgiveness yet, but you would like to experience the New Life He promises, simply pray this prayer:  “Jesus Christ, I choose to believe you are the Son of God and God’s only sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins. I admit it, I’m a sinner, please forgive my sins, and I ask you to come into my life, I want to be born again. Save me Jesus.  I don't understand it, but please save me Jesus.  Please show me how real you are! Also baptize me with your Holy Spirit; I want everything you have for me. Thank you for accepting me.”

If you’re a skeptic you can pray a prayer like this: “God, if  this is true about Jesus Christ and a new life, please help me understand so that I can accept your gift of eternal life that you purchased for me by the sacrifice of Your Son.”
