Don't where to go? Or what to do?

God wants His people, those who are included in Christ, to live according to His promises.

God has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them we may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires -- 2 Peter 1:4

By His atoning sacrifice, Jesus Christ has made ALL of God's promises "Yes" to those who are included in Christ.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God -- 2 Corinthians 1:20

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a sealthe promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance -- Ephesians 1:13,14

In Christ, anyone can speak the "Amen" to any of God's promises, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ speaking: "I tell you the truth, My Father will give you whatever you ASK IN MY NAME. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete" -- John 16:23-24

ALL of God's promises are for everyone in Christ, for anyone who will believe them and speak the "Yes" and "Amen" to them in the name of Jesus Christ.

But, if we don't speak the "Yes" and "Amen" to God's promises they will remain just words written on the pages of Scripture.

Here is what God says:

The LORD is faithful to ALL His promises and loving toward all he has made -- Psalm 145:13

Following are some of God's promises for guidance. God says to those who will believe:

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you (I will guide you with my eye). Do not be like the horse or the mule, that have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you" -- Psalm 32:8-9

He also promises: "Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your   heart" -- Psalm 37:4

God also promises:"Commit your works unto the LORD, and your thoughts will be established" -- Proverbs 16:3

"Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass" -- Psalm 37:5

"The  LORD will perfect (complete) that which concerns me" -- Psalm 138:8

"Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of His people; I am the  LORD your God who teaches you to profit (increase to the point of being very valuable), who leads you by the way you should go" -- Isaiah 48:17

"I will never leave you; never will I forsake you." So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" -- Hebrews 13:5-6

This is my favorite promise in the Bible, and the one I've used the most: James 1:5-8

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives GENEROUSLY without finding fault, and it will be given to you" James 1:5

"But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded person, unstable in all he does" -- James 1:6-8. It's not that God does not want to give the wisdom, it's the person will not receive God's wisdom.

In other words, when you ask God for wisdom, you will receive the wisdom you need, but you must not think, "Gee, I wonder if this is really from God?" I've witnessed person after person do that very thing, and then they go around asking other people what they think, "Gee, do you really think this is from God?" Of course other people will give you their opinion and you can be sure they will talk you out of the wisdom gave you.

Facebook is full of people asking people for advice, I abhore that lame idea. Why would I ask people I don't know for advice when I can go to God and ask Him for wisdom. He knows everything, and He knows what is best for me, and He promises to give me the wisdom I ask for. I have never experienced that promise in James 1:5-8 fail me.

In Christ, we are God's prized possessions. In Christ, we are God's children; He has lavished His love and grace upon all who are included in Christ. He will be faithful to ALL of His promises we speak the "Yes" and "Amen" to in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now it is God who makes you stand firm in ChristHe set His seal of ownership on us, and put His Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come --2 Corinthians 1:21,22

How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! -- 1 John 3:1

In Him (Christ) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us  with all wisdom and understanding -- Ephesians 1:7-8

If you are not sure you are included in Christ, here's how to get included:
An Invitation: If you haven’t accepted God’s free gift of forgiveness yet, but you would like to experience the New Life He promises, simply pray this prayer: “Jesus Christ, I choose to believe you are the Son of God and God’s only sacrifice for the forgiveness of my sins. I admit it, I’m a sinner, please forgive my sins, and I ask you to come into my life, I want to be born again. Save me Jesus. I don't understand it, but please save me Jesus. Please show me how real you are! Also baptize me with your Holy Spirit; I want everything you have for me. Thank you for accepting me.”

If you’re a skeptic you can pray a prayer like this: “God, if this is true about Jesus Christ and a new life, please help me understand so that I can accept your gift of eternal life that you purchased for me by the sacrifice of Your Son.”
